MAA members work to better their communities, engaging and informing their patients by sharing knowledge outside of their day-to-day roles.

Dr. Jayne Morgan provides brief informational videos titled 'Stairwell Chronicles' on various medical topics to her community through several media channels.

"I began the Stairwell Chronicles series in an effort to reach people where they are, meaning in the middle of an incredibly busy day, juggling any number of things, and adding the stress of managing your life within the COVID pandemic.  How do you filter the information? What’s real? Where do I go with questions? Most people do not live in the world of science and find it daunting or foreign, maybe even a bit scary.  I worked to provide an everyday face, i.e. your neighbor, your friend, to science…. and present factual information such that people can understand and begin to think.”
