ATLANTA Medicine, Written by and for MAA Members

The Medical Association of Atlanta successfully relaunched the journal ATLANTA Medicine with the spring 2009 edition.  Working in conjunction with the publisher of M.D. NEWS magazine, John Sawyer, ATLANTA Medicine articles are written by MAA member physicians and mails to the association's full membership. The journal is edited by Barry Silverman, M.D. a local cardiologist and member of the MAA.

In 2009, ATLANTA Medicine will publish three issues (spring, fall, and winter). The journal is supported by leading companies serving Atlanta's healthcare industry, including: Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates, FPIC, Kaiser Permanente, MAG Mutual, Northside Cardiology, Northside Hospital, Resurgens Orthopaedics, and WellStar Health System. Advertising support for ATLANTA Medicine is important to the MAA's mission and provides MAA's partners with an opportunity to reach members and the community.
